Attack speed came from Forests but later equipment was much better. Most important abilities for me were Evade (max from boots), Critical chance & damage and Attack speed.Only at the end (around 280+ loops) it was worse. And you know, monsters scale up constantly. Sometimes you found better one, but it was slow progress. You could have 200lvl Amulet with more Magic HP then 220lvl amulet. However some stats "broke" after 200+ loops. At some point, your boots always give you max 75% evade. First of all - monsters got scary strong! Thousands of HP, thousands of damage! Those numbers were scary and increasing with every loop!.I really advice you to try this, it is interesting experience. After 100+ loops strange thing started to happen. You want to constantly upgrade your equipment as you need to kill stronger and stronger monsters. It is different from building the Infinite loop. I placed also Outposts where it did not limit my Spider hives.ģ) The run - killing spree until 300+ loops.I placed lot of Bookeries - to have more enemies (with Tomes) and to shuffle trough deck faster.Later it was hard to change the decision. I was afraid that limiting my Forests, I would be weak. Other guide mentioned to have +240 exp bonus. I had more Suburbs then usually, but still not that much. Soon after 4rd boss, I filled the map.I am still scared from common mobs, elites would be brutal. It limits number of enemies on your loop but more importantly - it generates elite mobs and THEY WOULD DESTROY ME in higher loops. I placed two villages and planned more, but then I realized how stupid it is.Outposts at the camp and then building the loop - grooves, spiders, bookeries. I started as always - forests, rivers, suburbs.Choosing lower chapter might be good to avoid some ugly enemy abilities. I did it in 4th chapter - to get also resources from this grind.Other items (like Antique shelf) are helpfull a lot. I was able to beat the game without many items. You can solve this quest by massing relevant supply items. EDIT: I forgot to pinpoint (thanks /u/lolbifrons) importance of supply items.Much better choice would be Vampire mansion which can give you even more monsters. Tomes provide cards, but also shields which prolong the battle. So I choosed Abandoned bookeries for Tomes. To get as much XP you need as many enemies in battle as possible. On high loop number (100+) they have SO MUCH HP that it takes about 10 hits to kill one wolf. I was afraid this will slow my progress but LOL it did not. You can hit them only at 1/3 of their HP. So Groove = Ratwolves - they have abillity to not die on single hit.Swamps would mess with my vampirism, Cemeteries would require pure dmg, worms in Ruins evade and escape. For monsters I choosed Groove and Spiders.NOTE: Don't take villages to this quest, more on this later. I took Forests, River, Suburbs, Outpost, Bookery, Village, Arsenal. So, take 15 mandatory traits and grind to 1,6 mill experience.BUT! This was at the end lucky for me, because I died 2 times and without Omicron technique, I would fail! And also I could prove that you can have 3 traits remaining (I would not grind more!!!). I made a mistake here, because I took Omicron technique (one of boss traits) so I had to grind for 4,6 million exp. With this, you need to reach only 1,6 million exp to unlock the boss. The only reasonable way is to take ONLY mandatory traits = don't take any boss traits. This is really tough quest! For getting all traits, you have to collect 1,6 million or even 4,6 million experience!.Go to the boss page and then go to comments. I can't link it directly as the boss name breaks reddit hyperlinks :). You can find another guide on wiki here.EDIT: As commented bellow by /u/Furo81, you can do it with 5 traits remaining, if one of them is Second Thoughts. You can do it with three traits (including Second Thoughts) but you have to be sure those are you last 3 traits. NOTE: There are some guides mentioning you need to have only 2 traits remaining, but it is not true. You select this trait and soon the boss will be encountered (on your next loop). When only 3 (or 2) are remaining, you select Second Thoughts and as there are no traits to be changed, secret trait appears.
